Ellen Boyette
is a poet, essayist, and interdisciplinary artist who is earning her PhD in Occult Poetics. She received her MFA in Poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
Her books include Local Virgin of Impression, Nitrous or My Velvet Knife, and Cuffing Season.
A Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee, she has received funding from The Black Mountain College Museum, The Academy of American Poets, Random House Publishing, and Goodyear Arts.
